Weather Privacy Policy

Weather is designed to be lightweight, clean, and low-friction. The app does not require an account, does not include advertising SDKs, and does not intentionally collect identity information.

1. Information We Process

When you search for or add a city, the app uses the city name to request weather data. The app stores your default city, saved cities, temperature unit setting, and recent weather cache locally on your device.

2. Third-Party Weather Service

To load forecasts, searched city names and related requests are sent to the third-party weather service Open-Meteo. The service returns location, weather condition, temperature, humidity, wind speed, hourly forecasts, and 7-day forecasts.

3. Local Storage

Your default city, saved city list, unit preference, and weather cache are stored locally. You can clear this data through Android system settings.

4. What We Do Not Do

Weather does not require sign-in, does not upload contacts, photos, or files, does not read account information, does not include personalized advertising tracking, and does not sell personal information.
